Laurie Ann wasn’t sure what to expect when they walked inside the door. Blue eyes widening in surprise when she heard Toby’s words as was drawn to the voices and figures to the side. ”Oh wow.” She didn’t get the chance to say anything as the tension raised voices were easily carried over the space from the door from the bar. The hand that held onto Toby’s tightening in worry as she glanced at him then moved in near unison towards the group. Angelina greeted her and said everything was okay, but Laurie wasn’t sure that was the case the owner looked half ready to hurt someone and so did Sway, though Sway’s hair was much darker than she remembered before. ”I…I didn’t realize we were having a get together,” timid voice trying to ease tensions though unsure if it’d have helped at this point.








Shania was still chuckling over Freb’s words of buying a $500 bottle of wine for her; a bribe to keep her around when the door swung open and the sound of raised voices reached her. ”Sounds like someone else started the party without us.” Amusement still there but already warning bells were going off, the voices sound familiar, old but familiar…too familiar. Focusing on the group at the bar, as there didn’t seem to be anyone else around, Shania gave a low curse and was taking long strides towards the man in the leather jacket as she yelled. ”You son of a bitch!” Words holding anger but her punch that she’d have thrown stopped short as Angelina ducked in front of her. ”Get out of the way woman I have a score to settle with the bastard.” Shania didn’t realize till she’d spoken that her words nearly mimicked the drunken swagger from Nancy. ”Hell I already started, just ask Freb…” Her arm lowered as Freb’s presence was felt at her side, the fist still present but knowing if she raised it again the tanned man would keep her still and Angelina would demand he did so. She’d have words with Memphis later then, after all it was thanks to the lot of them that she’d still not seen her truck in ten years.
