I was very fortunate to attend tonight's MUC prelim show at the Winter Garden Theatre. I had wonderful seats thanks to a few friends and I'm happy to report the goings-on.

It was a great show: very crisp, clear, well-organized and enjoyable. A lovely singer did fantastic filler material while the delegates changed. Dominique Dufour was an amazing host!!!!!!!!! Alice Panikian hosted as well and was fabulous. Georges Tsoutiatis (sp) was as excellent as ever as well in his hosting role as well, having experience with other MUC local shows.

Riyo Mori was present, looking stunning, as was the amaaaaaaaaaazing Natalie Glebova. (She rememebered me. Aww! That made my night.)

5 Fast track winners were announced:

Miss Style - Lina Lombana (Langley, BC)
Miss Chio Swimwear - Aleksandra Malkin (Concord, ON)
People's Choice (web vote) - Dayna Hijaly (Montreal, PQ)
Audience Choice (voted before tonight's intermission) - Stephanie Koo (Calgary, AB)
Best in Evening Gown - Sahar Biniaz (Vancouver, BC)

There were several stand-outs. I will post more tomorrow and try to get pics up then as well. I have to put my MWC 08 pics up at the same time, so I'll make sure I do both as soon as I can. :)
