Subject: If you believe the Australian judges are corrupt, you should get out now as it’s clear you will never be happy. Can’t speak for all sections, but I e looked at marks and I don’t see huge differences between placements among the judges. (More inside)

Irish place points are designed to award those with higher placements, to put them well ahead. When calculating marks, the dancers will be ranked on raw marks and the following Irish points assigned (for each judge)
1st - 100 points
2nd - 75 points
3rd - 65 points
4th - 60 points
5th - 56 points
6th - 53 points
7th - 51 points

Getting place points of 100 from one judge and a 56 from another may seem like one of the judges is off, but the reality is they are both top 5 placements. It doesn’t mean the judging is off.
