I totally agree, we have been involved with Irish dancing for 25 years and have seen a lot of appalling decisions, some due to poor judging but mostly due to the political pull before competition even begins. These so called judges should hang their heads in shame. Kids and adult dancers who give up their time and money, some have to work to pay to go to these interstate and overseas events, some have school and uni commitments. We have all paid around $1500 each just for flights to come to Perth to keep this event alive and we have judges from certain states getting kids from same states on the blocks for favors. If you can’t pay for o/s impartial judges don’t have the event, and don’t cheat dedicated dancers from deserving wins. You guys are a joke.

May I ask which states you felt benefitted from the adjudicating? I’m only seeing bits and pieces from results on Instagram (NT) -- It’s important that WA have their turn to host the championships but it probably wasn’t the best choice straight after Covid., Sun, Oct 02 2022, 13:27:46"
