Her sharp,blood red eyes caught the other's spring easily.This was going to be a piece of cake.

One swift motion,a few steps in the backwars direction,carried her almost out of the range of the slashing forefeet.She only required a small bruise on a smaller,lesser muscle,imparing her movements none.The skin wasn't even clipped open,her tough Shire hide had endured a lot more abuse and lived to tell the tale.

This movement had also carried her out of the range of the second attack,now it was her first chance.When the other had a very slim chance of even tucking her head back up,Rose thrust her own neck and head forward,teeth bared in a volatile manner.When she got so close she could feel the other's ragged breath,her teeth clamped shut.This attack was aimed at the throat latch,the little flap of skin connecting the head and neck at the bottom.If she got a hold of this little gem,the breath would be cut off,suffocating REM.The throat latch contains the windpipe,the very source of your breath.Even if Rose only gets a good hold on it for a good thirty seconds,it'll still weaken the other.You really don't have time to move anywhere,but if you find an extremely swift way outta this one,I'll give you some credit.

She drew her own head back,not waiting for another attack to happen to her.Whirling around,her hindquarters were now facing the other's shoulder at a 45° angle.At this angle,she probably wouldn't be able to do much of anything to harm Rose.Breaking the moment's stillness,her forefeet tear through the air,at close quarters to REM's shoulder.Her powerful build allowed for only a second's time of descision for the other,which would be enough time if she made all the right moves.Her feet were aimed at the other's shoulder bone,right next to the ribcage.If the other moved just a tad in the wrong direction,Rose would demolish something important to movement.There's a way out of this one,it's obvious,and easy,but you have to be quick about it.Think,maybe you'll have a glimmer of hope.After the hind hooves found something,she jolted forward,galloping,then turning to face the other,waiting for her counter attacks.
