Mine was seeing an AOL blurb about “books that changed your life” and there were so many “Outlander” answers I had to check it out. The librarian said, Oh you mean that time travel one? And I almost passed because I don’t read sci fi. But that old, original cover with the clock and the sword and paid, oh my!?! What the heck? And as you all know the rest is history. This happened right before the Firey Cross came out so I could binge the first five.
