Subject: Thinking about abandoning the TV

Well, this is my first message. It's kind of scary in the way that I found myself here, sitting at this computer searching for answers. I am 23 years old and am completely addicted to TV. I don't know how to break the cycle and am completely at a loss. I have a wonderful husband that loves to watch his sports but if the TV is in the house hooked up I watch it, I can't seem to avoid it. I went to bed tonight and simply could not sleep for the questions and problems running through my head. I used to be so intelligent and now, I feel like my brain is mush, but I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?
