 Gabriel smiled knowingly. His yellow eyes a mixture of pleasure and teasing as he asked the boy, "What do you care? You have already cursed Rio and myself for being demons. What care have you to know the old tongue?"

Rio looked up to Gabriel and blinked. ::If I could speak to the boy myself I would excuse you for your lack of manners dear lir.:: She cast a gentle look to the boy. ::He does not know you tease 'Riel. Now answer his question.::

Gabriel lowered his head slightly to hide a smile. "My lir wants me to excuse myself. She says you do not know me well enough to now I tease." He looked up and tilted his head. "If you trully did not know that I was having a bit of fun then I am sorry. I ment no offense."

"The truth is... In the old tongue of our land the word cheysuli means firstborn. We were one of the first of Gods children to walk on his land." HE lightly scatched behind Rio's ear and laughed a low laugh at the wolf sound of pleasure she made. "It is why we walk with a beast half. The beast half of a Cheysuli lir bond is to keep us conected to the magic within our creators perfect land."

He shut his eyes knowing that no word would ever be able to tell the boy of the shapechange, but he would try. "For me, to take the form of a wolf is to become one with the earth and the magic of the land. While in the form I am a human man, but in the form of a wolf. I know myself. My name, my clan. And yet I know more because of the gift to see as a wolf sees."

He open his bright eyes, "DO you understand?"
