The golden tiger stopped to stand over the body of the female lir. His eyes darting everywhere for any sign of the enemy. And yet he could not find any trace of the wielder of the power that downed so many men and brought a strong lir to her knees.

Softly her tended to the worst of her wounds with a tender tongue. ::It is too bad for me that you could not hold that smaller form a bit longer.:: He continued his tender care, but his nerves were beginning to show. ::Liren, we must get away from here. My lir, she has your boy for now, but he will grow worried soon and try to return to his city.::

HE gripped her scruff in his huge mouth and attempted to lift her as a mother cat would lift a kitten. ::Come liren. I will carry you if I have to, but we must not stay here!! I sense BAD magic about.::

Alexis looked to the boy and smiled warmly. He was really only just younger than herself. And he was staring at her as if she had done something out of the norm. "Umm... Hello there... I'm sorry to have bothered you, but..."

She stretched out her legs and moaned softly, "I really am quite clumbsy, and I seemed to have twisted my ankle."

She offered him her warmest, sweetest smile, "Do you think you might help me back to my home? It isn't far. I promise!!"

She reached out to Monet, moaning softly as if her ankle pained her. ::How long til you and his lir arrive?::

Monet continued to half drag half carry the smaller female. ::She is hurt. You must buy us time.::

Alexis nodded and looked to the boy... "I'm Alexis. Who're you?"
