(and of course I don't actually know you well) that you are incredibly brave for making such a drastic change. Depression is difficult, I've suffered with that and obsessive/compulsive anxiety disorder for a few years now. Have you tried any medication--I mean I know no one really wants to be chemically altered in order to have what society tells us is a "normal" life, but it's worth a try. I've been with my husband since I was 16, I'm 27 now, so I understad how difficult that must be for you. Your entire life has been altered. But there's a positive spin on it as well, your mother obviously cares enough to help you out, you went out and found a job, you have your kids w/you, and you're about to move into your OWN place. That's amazing Chel!! And while I'm sure it will take a while to adjust to this new life, this new independence will be liberating for you. It takes a very strong person to make such a move--you should be very proud of yourself. I can only imagine how scary it is, hang in there Chel, and let us know how it goes. And thirty is still young, you can choose to do anything you want now--you have a fresh start, a person with a new role, make things happen--you're much stronger than you think!!
