 I get so lonely

“Maybe if I call his house, you know a friendly phone call …I can …you know ask him …” her thoughts were interrupted by her 11:30 am alarm. She turned the alarm clock off put on her shoes grabbed her keys and headed out the door to go get Kaylonie from tha airport.
When she got to the airport she spotted her big sister right away. This gurl was something else; she was standing with some brown skin muscle brother holding her $800 luggage. She was dressed in dark blue Versa chi Jeans with a gold chain belt. Designer glasses, Donna Karen sandals, a gold Versa chi tube top and Hollywood hairstyle. But this gurl ain’t have nothing. No job, nowhere to stay not even a car. Talk about priorities. It would only take you a second to see how she got everything. For the short time she was watching her big sister, at least 3 other brothers came up to her apparently asking for an autograph.
She got out of her 01’ dark blue Honda Civic and walked up to her sister who was giving an “autograph” as soon as he spotted her she gave back the pen and went crazy.
Kaylonie- (stretching her arms out) CCCCCCC AWWWWW LOOK AT MY BABY …YOU DON GOT SO BIG (hugging her) AHHHH HOW TALL ARE YOU NOW? 4’3 …YOU LOOK SOOO CUTE …AHHHH
Clara- dang Kaylonie …gurl calm down …we are in public
Kaylonie- gurl I don’t care …I ain’t seen you in a year
Clara- you talk to me everyday dang …I got collect calls to prove that on my phone bill
Kaylonie- it’s all good …come on let’s go (to the brown skin muscle brotha) can you bring my bags to my sister’s car?
Brotha- no problem (walks with them and puts the bags in Clara’s trunk)
Kaylonie- so how you been? You and that lil singin boy still together?
Clara- I’ve been fine …you?
Kaylonie- you know me …I stay fine …thanks hun
Brotha- (grinning) no problem
Kaylonie- then what chu standin there looking like tha Grinch for?
Brotha- that’s it? I was a bag holder?
Kaylonie- and you did a good job (gets in the car) come on C let’s go …I think I got a stalker already

Kaylonie- so talk to me baby sis …how is everything going?
Clara- everything is okay
Kaylonie- so why was you answering the phone like Wild Bill yesterday?
Clara- wasn’t feeling well …that’s why I took today off
Kaylonie- so how are you and your boyfriend
Clara- gurl you know I’m single
Kaylonie- unt un last time me and Nelly checked …you were still goin with that singer
Clara- well things happen …you know I ain’t tha mushy type
Kaylonie- awww that’s my sis …just like me and Nelly …don’t get attached to nobody
Clara- yeah …I guess you grow up like that when yo mama is a hoe and yo daddy is her pimp
Kaylonie- (laughs) gurl you still trippin off of that? They ended up getting married and havin a good life …and pops even got a decent job
Clara- but moms is crazy now
Kaylonie- you know all white people crazy
Clara- yeah that is true …bet not let moms hear you call her white though
Kaylonie- the hefa is white …her mama white
Clara- unt un she is (mocking her mother) half white one forth black and one forth Puerto Rican
Kaylonie- AHHHHH YOU GOT THAT SHIT DOWN PACK
Clara- yeah
Kaylonie- but look at you C …you turned out good …you got a good job, a big azz house …you living out your dream …and you have good long-term relationships
Clara- tell that shit to the judge …we grew up like some bats outta hell
Kaylonie- shit …our childhood prepared us for the world
Clara- good thing I found Jesus …cuz living in the house with you moms, Nell and Pops would have drove me crazy
Kaylonie- (laughs) yeah whatever …you and your God …where was he all the times when we was little huh?
Clara- unt un …according to you …we had a good childhood sis
Kaylonie rolls her eyes- anywayz what we got planned for tonight?
Clara- I got a date tonight …I don’t know what You doing
Kaylonie- oh snap …who you got a date with?
Clara- well it ain’t no date …I’m just going to dinner with Fizz
Kaylonie- ohhh snap now …
Clara- unt un …it ain’t even like that …you know we gon always be friends
Kaylonie- (singing) and you say he just a friend
Clara- whatever Kay …he is only a friend …past love ...not present or future
Kaylonie- okay …you ain’t gotta prove nuthin to me

Later that day~ around 5 pm
Ring~ Clara’s phone
Clara- (almost breaks her neck answering it)
Kaylonie- dayum gurl! (Polishing her nails on Clara’s bed) what’s wrong with you?
Clara- (gives Kaylonie a “whatever” look) hello?
Lil Fizz- Clara?
Clara- (exhales) oh hey Fizz
Lil Fizz- were you expecting a call?
Clara- (lying) just yours
Lil Fizz- oh well …I wanted to know if you wanted to go to this new Italian restaurant on 23rd and Casa?
Clara- formal or casual?
Lil Fizz- in the middle
Clara- okay …I guess I can do that
Lil Fizz- I’ll be there to pick you up around 8?
Clara- good for me
Lil Fizz- and maybe afterwards we could catch Training Day at the theater or sumthin
Clara- yeah …I’ll bring a change of clothes
Lil Fizz- if you find it necessary
Clara- it is isn’t it? I mean …you know what …never mind …I’ll see you at 8
Lil Fizz- oh k …bye
Clara- bye (hangs up)
Kaylonie- change of clothes? (polishing her nails singing) and you say he just a friend and you say he just a friend
Clara- (laughs and throws a pillow at her) shut up
