Spencer didn't care who he was high in front of. He would get high while I was at work and he had the kids. When I found out about his addiction and use that's when he started staying away when he was high. Or he would fake it really well. Sometimes he would use so much after being clean for a couple of weeks and he would feel like shit and look like it too. His eyes all glazed over, his lips looking like he was paralyzed, his heart beating so loud you can hear it if you are sitting next to him. He looked numb, acted numb, and when I started noticing, he would go away. Then he would call when he was coming down off the drugs, crying , begging, etc. You know the deal. I don't miss that at all. Now he is still up and down but not like that. He is different each time I speak to him. Like he has two different(way different) sides to him. But he is not using meth only drinking alcohol. And it's hard liquor and beer.
Been There, my case is coming up in a week and 1/2. Any advice for me before I go? ANything I need to bring, tell the judge, not tell the judge???
