 You say your children never witnessed him in his drug state. That’s great and I agree with you on not taking them to hear other stories from other children that were not as lucky as yours. If your children never saw him high maybe that is because he did not want to be around them when he was high. An addict still has respect for something’s, and everyone is different. Now saying that and you know way more about the situation than me, but I would face the double headed sword if I were you. If he passes and gets high again he will probably just stay away from his children. If he does not pass than you can take care of them and not put them through the pain of waiting for there dad to show and he never does, because he is to busy getting high. Just my 2 cents.
