Coincidentally I took the trouble to check our tacking angle in preparation for a class racing regatta that took place in Plymouth 10 days ago. I found that we were tacking through 78 degrees in light winds (10 knots apparent) and in flat, shelter waters with our No1 Mylar genoa.
