The issue is resolved :-)

The guy that did the opriginal work on the IOW wrote a comprehensive response into how he felt the pipe work was OK by CORGI standards, based essentially on the cooker manufacturers safe operating pressures. My current Gas man took this info to his CORGI examiner who confirmed all is OK.

The interesting thing here is that Privatly Owned Vessels fall outside of strict CORGI regulations and provided they are deemed to be operating within the safe limits of the piping & cooker you are Ok.

Thankfully I did not have to shell out another few hundred to have the pipework replaced!!
