Subject: Trapper 300 P bracket

At the end of last season I found the P bracket screws had become loose. This appears to have been due at least in part to a de-zinced propeller that was out of balance. It has been suggested that I replace the screws with through bolts. That would necessitate cutting the old bolts through the glassed in section of hull. Is this really necessary or can I just tighten the screws (could this be OK with the new balanced Prop?), can one glue them in place? Does anyone have any advice on this problem?
Thanks in anticipation.
Peter
