Hi. Just wondered if anyone has fitted the new Dolphin II engine with it's electronic ignition & gearbox to their Trapper. The existing engine has been reliable but I've decided that it would be best to be able to go astern without turning the engine off so I'm looking at various options. The Dolphin is just so much lighter and easier to sort out than everything else and with the 16hp version available I'm very reluctant to convert to a much heavier diesel. I have been looking at the Kubota diesel which looks to be basically a Beta with a different name but are more available as reconditioned units. If anyone has ever fitted one I'd appreciate any comments?
