Trapper hulls and decks are made from best quality GRP materials and include a very high proportion of woven roving, which provides the main strength. Near horizontal deck areas are strengthened further by the addition of a " layer of end grain balsa core. This is replaced by
plywood pads in areas of high stress -cockpit sole, winch pads, mast step, center of foredeck etc. ."
