Hi Jonathan,
Thanks your message -you sent about the time I was doing the slot filling today (used West Epoxy with a lot of their fillers). Will keep your gloop in mind for another need!
With keel resting on trailer there is 3/4 inch clear at top but since st steel keel box is slotted I should have something in hand. ie keel can drop 1 inch or so on to pin from this position. This will leave me with similar space to top of bulb.
