We've had a great summer working our way up the east coast. But 3 times, we've had bad moments being lassoed round the keel when the tide has turned and/or with wind against tide - twice the anchor rode, once a mooring line. We've ended up lying athwart the current with the rode tight from the bow under the hull. It's very hard to get untangled but so far we've always managed it, at slack tide, after much struggling. Is there something about the design of the keel that makes this particularly likely, or have we just been unlucky?
