Subject: Clevis pin sizes

I'm just in the process of getting my T28 ready for relaunch, I was just going round and checking the rigging last week (even though she had as full survey 2 weeks ago) when I came to the clevis pin holding the forestay to the stem head fitting. It looked a little on the small side to me at 6mm, does that seem reasonable to everyone else ?

As it happens, I don't like it so I'm going down tomorrow to drill out the stem head fitting to take a 10mm clevis pin. Just wondered what size pin everyone elses boat uses ?

Regards, Brian (Blazer '70 T-28)
