Hi John,
On my T500 Eun Mara,the tangs broke away from the stock, so I have seen the rudder opened.The stock goes straight down with, from memory, three tangs welded on at, from top, about 90,120 and 170 deg angles respectively. The two halves of the rudder are filled with expanding foam. So yes, it does sound fairly hollow. Alan
