James,
I'm not the owner of a 300 but a TS 240 that I did a certain amount of work on this year after purchasing her in somewhat under par condition, and 1 of the urgent jobs was to replace the sliding car on the top of the lifting keel.I had this fabricated in stainless by Ken Nevard engeneering in Norfolk and found his price less than any one local could do it in mild steel and then galvernized. might be worth a look. when I picked up the finished result I was seriously impressed. both by his work and by his workshop and he does work for all the major charter companies on the broads. so understands the boat scene.
I will try and dig his number out as it was in the summer I used him and I have had to re-format my hard drive and have lost the documents.(paper back up not in logical order) and computer back up not as thorough as should have been. backed up pickys of the boat though.
