Hey Bow,
That was really nice :o)). I agree Jung was a pretty good mystical warrior -- at least he got some things like the role of the shadow and the directions generally right [he wrote alot about 'mandalas' and bringing wholeness by balancing N,S,E, and W -- and how you can see this happening in peoples' dreams .... he worked alot with schizophrenics in his early years :o) ]

I agree the shadow often carries the knowledge we most need to hear, but most deeply repress -- then it gets 'projected' onto a supposed opponent or "enemy" which is why the zen teachers say to learn from them, and call them "worthy opponent", eh?

Anyway, thanks for your reply .... as my teacher would say you have to include your 'shadow' to be whole, and being whole is the whole point of this walk :o))
