- Is Megan Dedusis coming back? I thought she was the most ready for the national competition than the others in top five. Her interview was kind of lack luster but everything else was perfect. (NT) -- curious, Monday, September 15, 07:05:16pm
- Lauren Gagliardino (former Miss De's Outstanding Teen and Top ten for Miss Delaware America) may be competing. Look out ladies! She is a ringer! (NT) -- excited, Saturday, September 27, 08:23:11am
- No, it said on the Delaware board that she will be taking a year off. She may be waiting to compete in Miss. I think she's only 18 or 19 (NT) -- Hope she competes in MAO this year and isn't taking the year off, Saturday, September 27, 11:21:33am
- I hear Brittney Dempsey (Miss DE MAO 2007) may compete. I agree that Christine B. needs to get out of MAO and into USA. Lose the weight and you'd win, you are gorgeous, but lack talent. Sorry, but I really am pulling for you in DE USA> (NT) -- q, Saturday, September 27, 02:01:01pm
- Lauren G would be crazy to take a year off from MAO. I don't think she would win it this year but I do think she would be top 5 and earn money and experience (NT) -- I can understand needing a break though., Sunday, September 28, 08:22:50pm
- Brittney has a rockin body, but facially she is not pretty. I predict Julie Citro or Kate Banazak wins this year. (NT) -- t, Monday, September 29, 10:05:02pm
- I second that. And everyone knows it whether they want to admit it or get all hyped up on here and write it off as jealousy or not. (NT) -- opinion of the general public,,, not just the 2 of us that posted., Monday, September 29, 11:03:09pm
- Either one of these would be a great delegate for DE! They both certainly have put their time in.... (NT) -- DE Fan, Tuesday, September 30, 12:27:44pm
- I totally disagree. I think Brittany has a rockin body and she is beautiful inside and out. (NT) -- yes, it does sound like jealousy!, Wednesday, October 01, 09:47:41am
(NT) -- Recent pic of my girl!!!, Thursday, October 02, 12:23:00am
- HOLY GOD AIRBRUSHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (NT) -- I would love to see her standing next to some natural beauties that will be competing this year.., Thursday, October 02, 11:17:29am
- If this is her program book headshot then the judges are going to be confused during interview looking for the same girl. (NT) -- This picture is too airbrushed and the judges will realize that., Thursday, October 02, 11:18:34am
- The original (unretouched) is just as beautiful. (NT) -- Coming from someone who has seen it, and seen Kate recently. She looks better than she ever did., Thursday, October 02, 03:40:20pm
- Who are these other natural beauties you speak of? (NT) -- Do you know some girls we are not aware of yet?, Thursday, October 02, 03:44:18pm
- revealed...untouched image -- click in, Monday, October 06, 08:13:55pm
- ASHLEY FLETCHER...FORMER MISS TEEN DE USA WILL BE COMPETING THIS YEAR...i dont really remember...but i think shes short. pretty, but short (NT) -- any opinions?, Thursday, October 02, 01:21:48pm
- There are a lot of blemishes on Kate's chest that didn't quite get airbrushed out surprisingly. I agree Kate has never placed top 5 for a reason so Wake up people! Ashley Fletcher is very cute. I could see her bubbly personality putting her in top 5 because there aren't many strong competitors this year aside from Julie Citro, Cynthia Maniscalco, & Ashleigh Constantini. (NT) -- Can't wait for 11/08!, Thursday, October 02, 11:04:27pm
- I've never met Kate, but her picture is really pretty..but those awful fake blue contacts have GOT to go. I think she'd look perfect without those (NT) -- sorry for the comment, they just irked me!, Monday, October 06, 12:38:39am
- Haha, I tell her that all the time, but she has a million colors and just likes to "play" with them. She will not wear them for the pageant. AND, I will have to get the UNTOUCHED photo up here for you all to see. (NT) -- Love my girl, Monday, October 06, 04:24:32pm
- Untouched photo or not... I am sorry but competition is fierce this year with Citro & Maniscalco coming back. (NT) -- Take it or leave it, Tuesday, October 07, 12:48:28am
- Been there, done this before....my hunch...its going to be a newbie! They're FRESH!!! (NT) -- No matter new or a returnee, I hope DE finally gets there!, Tuesday, October 07, 09:29:44am
- alot of people are counting the new girls out of the pageant this year but it wouldn't surprise me if one of those girls took the title. The old girls might have some tough competition this year. (NT) -- hoping for a fresh new face to take the crown., Tuesday, October 07, 11:58:24am
- Delaware has done that...picked new girls and they don't do anything either because they have no idea what to expect at Miss USA. Atleast girls that have done the pageant a few times can hold up to the pressure at nationals. New isn't always best. Delaware needs to step out of cute, girl next door types and send someone stunning who can hold their own against the competition at Miss USA. (NT) -- I'm a fan of any girl who has competed multiple times - it shows her determination., Tuesday, October 07, 04:50:24pm
- I agree in some ways, but doing Miss Delaware a few time is not going to prepare you anymore for Miss USA. I don't think anyone really knows what that will be like until they get there and if any girl new or old is strong enough and confident they can hold their own; its not experience that will let you do that. Plus if the girls that have been in pageants consistently have that much experience they would have been Miss Delaware by now. (NT) -- good discussion, Tuesday, October 07, 10:05:11pm
- I do agree though experience ultimately does help someone. (NT) -- good discussion, Tuesday, October 07, 10:10:21pm
- Don't be so sure. There have been plenty of girls who have competed for Miss DE who had a pageant background and the title went to a newbie. DE is such an unpredictable state! One year we have a pageant veteran win, the next it's a girl off the street who just joined the pageant for fun. I have come to the conclusion that there is no "sure winner" in Delaware. And with new directors, things are up in the air even more. (NT) -- Pageant veterans don't always have an easy time in DE!, Wednesday, October 08, 01:58:57am
- Nationals is no easy task to attend or predict. You just never know. One thing is for sure...we need to start to "compete" in every aspect. We need to send the delegate who has it all, and I'm sorry if this is going to offend, but she has GOT to be tall. We will never make it to semi's without the total package. We're almost there! I have faith!!! (NT) -- Awesome Discussion, Wednesday, October 08, 10:33:49am
- Don't get the Maniscalco hype AT ALL. (NT) -- Cute girl, but not the Miss USA material Delaware desperately needs!!!, Wednesday, October 08, 02:01:24am
- Cynthia is a pretty girl, but you may be right that she is not USA material. As an outsider observing the insiders, I must say that I feel Julie Citro wants this more than anyone. If you look on facebook you will see that she has gone to Miss USA 2008 in Vegas, Miss Teen USA 2008 in the Bahamas & this exposure and meet and greet with all of these titleholders can only help her step up her game. Not to mention it seems that she is very close to a few former Miss Delaware's-->I think she is the best qualified! (NT) -- I would hate to see another newbie take the crown when there are girls who have dreamed of the title for years., Wednesday, October 08, 11:02:49am
- Julie's beautiful, but every girl wants to go to Miss USA, so unless you're personal friends on Facebook with Paula yourself or Don...it doesn't make a hill of beans difference. I still wish her and all the returnee's the best of luck!!! (NT) -- Go DE!, Wednesday, October 08, 12:49:27pm
- i know julie wants this. but she is 25 and hasn't gotten a degree and doesnt have a career to speak of. priorities for a titleholder should be education first. afterall you have to be a role model. how can you inspire others? (NT) -- observer, Wednesday, October 08, 07:09:56pm
- your right she does want this, but her main priority is school and to graduate with honors. I realize that you look at her age and think she should be done but Julie has paid for all of her school and for her bills making it hard to finish on time. She just recently moved home to save money and finish faster..but just because she hasn't finished school yet doesn't make her less of a role model..half of these girls aren't done either or have taken time off. She is very dedicated to finishing school and competing in Miss Delaware! (NT) -- friend of Julie's, Wednesday, October 08, 07:41:41pm
- several people pay for school and bills and graduate at 21-22. it shouldnt take anyone 9 years to get a bachelors degree. she should have a masters with all of the time she had. (NT) -- observer, Wednesday, October 08, 08:13:01pm
- I personally know several people that have had to go to school part time because they had to make time for work in order to pay bills, have spending money and pay for school which can be thousands of dollars. To make such an ignorant comment about Julie's age (which is 24 by the way- not 25) is ridiculous because the girl works very hard to pay her bills and her schooling and manages to find time to volunteer. As for her being a role model, her major is elementary education... she works with children often and observes them at different schools. She also volunteers at children's hospitals...so as far as being a woman who is a role model and is on her way to get a degree.. Julie has got it! (NT) -- Majority of the girls competing are still in school anyways., Thursday, October 09, 12:18:30am
- I agree with "observer". Regardless of what is going on in your life, you can still finish school in a timely manner. Julie is pretty and sweet. But to compete in a pageant for 5 years in a row but not have money to go to school full time is beyond me. She could have been a teacher already and on her way to paying back student loans. And as a teacher, she could have more of an influence on young lives than she does as a volunteer. But this is Miss USA. Brains and drive don't matter as much. It is all about beauty. You barely have to articulate a sentence in the USA system. And she is actually 25. (NT) -- MBA, Thursday, October 09, 02:40:28pm
- other than the obvious two girls that are returning this year that everyone keeps talking about does anyone know anyone else new or old that could be competition? (NT) -- Go DE!, Wednesday, October 08, 07:47:59pm
- So Julie was lucky enough to have the money to go to national competitions. Does that mean girls who don't have that opportunity want it any less??? (NT) -- Going to a national to spectate means nothing., Thursday, October 09, 08:17:57pm
- Obviously anyone that is saying mean things about Cynthia arre just jealous and know she is competition. She is beautiful and more importantly she has a great personality that will def win over the judges. No offense but if Julie is so great then why is this her like 5th year competing. Watch out girls cause Cynthia is gonna take the crown ! (NT) -- A Good Friend, Thursday, October 09, 10:23:11am
- I just spoke to Christine today and she says she will NOT be in the pageant this year. She said the following girls will be or at least told her that. Julie C, Cynthia M, Ashley C, Ashley F, Angela Fitcara(she said a former teen top 5), Sarah H, Kate B, and she is assuming Lauren Parks and Laura Mattey. I asked her about Megan D and Brittney Dempsey and Lauren G from MAO and she said they were not competing. I don't know how accurate she is, but it seems like this could be a partial list. (NT) -- Christine is staying in MAO not returning to USA, Thursday, October 09, 02:39:36pm
- Ashley Constantini probably got a job at Hooters with those big boobs she paid for recently (NT) -- Plastic no no, Thursday, October 09, 04:46:44pm
- Cynthia is a really pretty girl, but last year her body was no where near Miss USA shape. I think she had a great, bubbly personality and the cute girl next store look about her, but I'm afraid it won't be her year if she didn't tone up. Frankly, I'm still a little surprised she placed as high as she did last year (NT) -- Looking at it from a judges point of view, don't kill me., Wednesday, October 15, 12:12:59am
