I could see this if you were running nitrous or alcohol but since NHRA pro stock contested this rule and NHRA let them off I say let your racers decide on thier own if they want to spend the $1000 on this suit. remember it gets over a 100 degrees in summer. I've received some inquiries about the rule change to -15 driving suits. I'm trying to verify if this will be a requirement for us in '10. In the meantime, we're working on a deal that will save a considerable amout of $$ if we can get several ordered at one time. I'll post more on this as info comes in. Hold your horses there Hoss! Read the post carefully and you'll see the word "verify". The inquiries I received were from TPSA teams wanting info about this rule and if it would affect us...one more thing, we race at NHRA & IHRA tracks and are subject to their rules and interpretations. My opinion is that our current -5 suits are legal because the rule states 6.39 to 4.50 1/8 mile in a door car...but at this point it's just that, an opinion. By the way, if the heat is that big an issue to you, be glad we don't have to sit in the lanes very often, and we race primarily at nite! -- DH, 12/10/09 1:24am
