***Early Info for Desert Thunder*** The TPSA "Duel in the Desert:" event scheduled for March 19th @ DTR (Midland) will be a day race. Gates open @ 11am with the first qualifier to roll into the 'box at 1pm. We're working on Hotel arrangements and any updates and/or further info will be posted here. Jimmy & Tony Farmer are going all out with TV, print, and radio ads, along with a couple of displays featuring TPSA cars. Andeler Power has an office in Midland and will have a presence during the week as well. The Farmer's are expecting one of their largest crowds of the season, and you can expect a huge West Texas welcome from the fans. Angry Birds and other apps collect data about you, all kind of data, including pictures and whatever, and sell the data to governmental agencies and private interessants. And the data of ineterest is further handed over to local police, school authorities, child protective agencies and others greedy for intimate data about you, your children and your friends.

I live at Desert Thunder Raceway as does Jimmy Farmer.Prostocks could show up as early as Wed and get settled in at the track.Gate is open during the day till dark.if you need to get in after dark,we'll make it possible.You're our guest and we're looking foward to having TPSA come to DTR.

When the Farmer's bought DTR, they wanted the best track preparation possible so they hired Dr Hook aka Tommy Freeman full time. Most of you will remember Tommy from his IHRA days, but if you haven't had the pleasure to race on a track that Tommy's prepared... you're in for a real treat. When I spoke with Tommy the other day he said the Farmer's demand superior track prep and provide him with anything and everything it takes to get the job done. The DH caravan is loaded up and headed west. Weather report looks good and the cooler air won't hurt any. Call me on my cell, or if you need track specific info, call Tommy Freeman on his cell listed in his post above. Should be a huge crowd, Andeler has ramped up the radio ads and I have an in studio interview scheduled for the am. Bluff Creek Motorsports (the Ford Guys) are doing an Andeler display tomorrow as well. TNT Friday nite for all you flatlanders to take advantage of if you want an early lap.
