Subject: We weighed 2280 on Team "O" scales a month ago. We weighed 2415 in TPSA trim, we took out close to 140Ibs and since then have added close to 30Ibs back to it with ADRL Safety equipment etc. We have no intensions at this time on changing the setup up to run quarter mile just to prove a point! We are focused on going as fast as we can with (TPSA stuff) to qualify in a ADRL Top Sportsman field that is filled with Nitrous and Blown cars! Last Saturday we were having delay box issues and only made one halfway decent pass 1.003 2.869 4.430 @ 157.55! DA -125. We picked up from the first outing and hope to continue! And Congrats to the Pigpen on the stellar quarter mile passes!

I just read this thread and I had to throw in my .02 worth. I know I was surprised when I talked to Pig a few weeks ago and he told me he could only get to 2370# in his car. Now I'm sure he's got "conventional" batteries but he did say that was all of the weight out. When I read Rick's reply to an earlier post in this thread I was shocked when he said that his Haas car and Joes's weighed the same. I probably have misread what Rick said, or meant, but I know my antique Haas car will get waaay lighter than 2370 with my fat, ol' butt in it. Heck Ol' Blue will beat 2370# by quite a bit but she does have a "Barbie Jeep" Battery :)

Kevin, thanks for posting the details, your performance is outstanding and makes sense @ the 2310# you posted. I myself was having difficulty making the numbers work if ya'll hadn't changed anything from your TPSA set up and only took out 30#'s. Good luck in the ADRL and it would be neat to see a 565", N/A car qualify in TS.

Congrats to C&W and the Pigpen on some incredible runs and if a 1/4 challenge came up I'd throw $250 to the pot! Now if the respective engine builders and car owners would pitch in a few cheeseburgers it would be worth the price of admission! Change the 3rd members, agree on a wt, and line 'em up!!!
