Subject: Xtreme Sportsman Classes for 2013

Ok guys, your killing me. Tell you what. This is a work in progress, an idea, something simple and workable. EXTREME Sportsman / Doors and EXTREME Sportsman / No Doors.

XSportsman/D

Rules - Car must have doors that work and a roof, body, fenders, all chassis covered.
ANY Engine / transmission combination.
Car must run between 4.50 and 4.80 in the 1/8th mile.
You may dial in anything in between those two spots.
Entry - $100.00 for car and driver.
Winner - $1000.00
R/U - $500.00

XSportsman/ND
Rules - Dragsters, altereds, roadsters
Any engine and transmission combination.
Car must run between 4.40 and 4.70 in the 1/8th mile.
You may dial in anything between those two spots.
Entry - $100.00 for car and driver.
Winner - $1000.00
R/U - $500.00

Now you guys think that this is bracket racing and hate bracket racers, don't come. You guys that think you have to run "heads up" or "it ain't racing", don't come. Those that have the guts to run a car that has a .30 spot on them and can run a .45 but has to fight you at the stripe, cmon in.

For the spectators, Two TPSA cars leaving .30 seconds apart is "heads up".
A top sportsman dragster leaving next to a blown altered .30 seconds apart is fun to watch.

We are exploring the interest in this travelling show for next year. If your interested send "I'm in" to "extremesponsor@yahoo.com.

[> That's a different concept for sure.. kinda piqued my interest. Assuming breakout loses (kinda goes without saying with a dial in), and "first or worse" rule, but what about Pro Tree with Crosstalk, courtesy staging, autostart?? I've found that the logistical side of how the races would be conducted is necessary for most racers to make a decision before making a firm commitment. Thanks & good luck! -- DH, 09/ 2/12 1:25am
