**Update**
Sources confirm...Hanson's new Xtreme bullet is dynoed and delivered. Ditto for the Ford Guys all new, Pro Class, Blue Oval, Chevy Killer. The Robinson/Wilkerson team is awaiting a new head combo to finish off their all new piece for the Pro class. They're working hard to make the Season Opener, but it may be close. Not confirmed, but word is the new Winscott/Miller Team's TPSA bullet is fresh and ready to go for the Pro wars. The Boxman has his Beretta ready for a tnt session, and is another player in the Pro Catagory. Randy the "Dandy" Elliott is bustin' it, but won't be ready to join the fray with the Pro's with his fresh piece until later in the season. Ol' Blue is just sittin', waiting for the coin toss or arm wrestling match to see which Hub gets in the chair. Crowd favorite Donny Willliams is very close to being ready, and Billie Peters says he's interested in coming back. It looks like there's plenty of interest in the new class.
Not to be upstaged, the Xtreme teams have been busy themselves. Pearce, both Pigfords, Otwell, Cowger/Wood with their new car, and the Talley/Nickens group, also with a new ride, have all seen early season testing. Hanson should be testing soon, and the Hill Country Boyz Cavalier will get the loser of the aforementioned contest between the Hub's. Crownover's bullet is in for a checkup, but should be ready in time to slide in the framerails of the 'Bird for the opener if he can get away for a few hours. Our West Texas sources reveal that the Abbott's are in a closed session with top secret procedures in place preparing their new bullet for the Xtreme battle.
Time's slipping away... just check the count down on the top of the page! The new season will be here before you know it...

Different classes -- Old Racer, 02/16/11 7:54am
What's the difference between the Pro and Extreme classes? Are there rules posted for both of them?

If your're a TPSA "Old Racer" your combination probably fits really well. The short version is all of the existing rules apply, weight, cubic inch, single 4, pg, etc, but only "out of the box" cylinder heads produced prior to 9/07 are allowed. Porting, polishing, angle milling (22* min) is legal, but NO semi-finished or raw castings, cannot move valves, guides, spark plug location, weld combustion chambers, etc. Also, no Alum or Hybrid convertors. We will have a Pro class winner at each event, and a 2011 Pro Champ will be crowned at the 2011 Championship Banquet. This class is a work in progress and we'll be monitoring and making notes for 2012, but this year we just want everyone to come on out and have some fun! We expect the et's to be in the 70's -80's in the good air, probably .1 slower in the heat. If you have any questions, call me @ 512 756 6384, or click on my initials below to email me.
