Team C/W wins XTREME...
Abbott's win PRO





Team Cowger/Wood, and Team O member Rick Cowger in the chair, won their first TPSA race as a team @ HMP. Rick is no stranger to the Winner's Circle as the driver for the old G&G TPSA team, but had not been able to score for his new team. The NRC/Slick Rick powered teammates sat atop the leaderboard with Cowger's 4.5874 being low et of the event, and Richard Otwell's 151.57 setting the mph mark. Richard also ran a very close 4.5881. Meanwhile, teammate Larry Pearce continues to lead the XTREME points battle. Team O's tuner/advisor Bill Stocklin generally avoids the spotlite but the progress the team has made this year is very evident to the rail birds.




The "Pig Pen's", Joe Pigford, rebounded with a runner up finish and collected the Team O "Bounty" on current points leader, Larry Pearce. Joe posted a 151.52 that was oh so close to top mph.



The Abbott family made the long tow from West Texas worthwhile with the PRO Win.



Donald & HR Hughes made another final round appearance and took command of the PRO points lead at HMP. Making the trip to lend a hand was the Robinson/Wilkerson Team. The R/W team expect their Firebird to be ready for the PRO wars soon.

Great job by all of the TPSA teams that braved the first true "summer" conditions of the year, and provided a great race! And a warm welcome to the newest Team O member, the Malone family, and their GTO to the PRO ranks. Robert went to the semi's in his 1st TPSA outing.

Thanks to the Baker family, John Mandabach, and the staff @ HMP for allowing us to be part of their program, and to the fans that always support the TPSA. We also appreciate Randy Elliott and Austin for coming out to man the scales and generally provide help where needed.
