***Schedule Update***



The September 11th race date is officially cancelled. Another venue was not available on that date with such short notice. To replace the 9/11 event, and complete the 12 race schedule, will require running back to back weekends, or another double header. **THERE IS STILL A POSSIBILITY OF ADDING 1 MORE RACE IN OCTOBER TO COMPLETE THE 12 RACE SCHEDULE** A decision will be made in the next few days and posted here ASAP.

Our next event will be the Double Header Weekend, September 25th @ Evadale, & the 26th @ Baytown. The remainder of our posted 2010 schedule has an event every other weekend.

The policy regarding the schedule has been announced at each Banquet and posted for the past few years:

1. 12 race schedule, count your best 10 for points.

2. Make every possible effort to reschedule events that were cancelled or postponed, within our posted policy.

3. Avoid racing back to back weekends when possible.

4. The TPSA season ends Oct 31. In the event less than 12 races were completed, each competitor would count his best 10 finishes for points. In the event less than 10 races were completed, there would be no "drops" and every event would go toward the point total.

Making the last race of the 2010 Season a "double points" race was considered, but adding one at this late date would not be consistent with the posted 2010 Championship Series Points procedure.
