Subject: ***Attention***

I just got off the phone with Sammy at Dallas Raceway and he said the local weather for tomorrow is calling for a high of 72*, with a 40% chance of rain forecasted for late afternoon/early evening. Gates open @ 11am and they'll run 'till dark. Sammy also invited any of the TPSA teams present to the track Banquet that will be held (inside) at the track after the race day concludes. Live band, food & drink, and some bench racing will be on the menu. Sounds like a good way to spend a Saturday in January!

[> Ya'll sure missed a beautiful day @ Dallas Raceway! Sammy, Hoss, & Chad had the track hooking great (as usual) and the hamburgers were hot & fresh. Speakin' of hamburgers, the Ford Guys Kingpin, Jeff Mitchell and his shotgun, Tom Hoosier, trailered ol' DH in a winner take all match up for all the cheesburgers, fries, and Dr. Pepper you could handle. Mitchell's total package, r.t. & e.t. was better than Hub's, so he was declared the winner by Sammy. Mitchell said he wasn't one to gloat, but maybe it was time for DH to hang 'em up! Hubbard replied that Mitchell was guilty of using "diversionary tactics" but he'd pay his debt like a big boy. Sources at the track reported Hubbard had to work the ET booth for a couple of hours to make enough gas money to get home, but he said there would be another day for Mitchell & his Ford. There's already talk of a rematch in early February. Thanks to everyone @ Dallas Raceway for a great time and we can't wait for the season opener, March 5th. -- agent 660, 01/29/11 8:00pm

[> We had plans to come to Crandall however the website lead us to believe the track was not open as a banquet was scheduled. By the time we learned the track was open we had already made alternate plans -- Team O, 01/31/11 8:59am

[> track was awesome! I won the office pool of at least 3 broken rearends/drivetrains in the first hour the track was open. Those street cars are never prepared for the hook at that track! For the record, 4 broken street cars in 45 minutes...the survivors learned not to deck it and side step the clutch...LOL! -- and a broken oil pan on a Camaro with no bars after he bounced it off the rear bumper!, 01/31/11 11:59am
