Gaze drifting away in a subtle sulk, the vampire did not answer, not particularly pleased on some level that there was a child in his lover's arms sired by another. Even if it had been rape, he couldn't surpress a sudden flare of resentment toward Alex. Having another man's child! But even as arrogant and self-centered as he was, even he knew that he crossed too many lines with that thought, that he couldn't blame Alex for the newcomer. Heh, come to think of it, the boy would have had a sibling had not the young vampire been of a less compassionate breed than the boy's 'mother.' Consider yourself lucky, boy, that your syringe landed in the arm of the blond and not the brute. But... wait, quick change of subject. Alex didn't mind if he what? Was he serious? Wait, wait, wait, wait! Hold up! Chris and Lorenzo, blah, blah, blah, but what?? Utterly dumbfounded and no doubt looking the part, he searched the cobalt eyes for... something. Possibly a laugh. Was this a joke? "You love... Who?? Who is it?"
