Author: Sarosh
Subject: Definitely a people person
In reply to: Ravin and Marz 's message, "Taking Sarosh off to meet some of the others" on 10:05:39 01/14/02 Mon

Sarosh smiled, liking the new people he was meaning, and glad that this Ravin fellow who had found his lamp had such a diverse group of friends. Changed into clothes that while drab, let him move much more freely he was eager to get something tasty to eat and meet Ravin’s friends. Hoping they were more like Isobel then Ravin and the big Mercenary outside. At least Isobel knew how to dress! Maybe others did as well! He had seen her staring, and had thought it quite the compliment. Granted, most humans probably weren’t used to such perfection in their midst, but that was why he had created this body. To be looked at. It would be a waste if it weren’t.

When Isobel mentioned the Flask, he felt himself blushing. He was going to have to have a talk with Ravin about mentioning it, since it was rather embarrassing. Isobel here knew Genie’ came in Lamps… why did Ravin to recount the story perfectly?! It was bad enough he’d been sleeping in a lamp, but did Ravin have to tell EVERYONE?!
Ravin thankfully changed the subject before he could murmer some excuse and apology for his ugly home.

There's a large food tent set up a few yards away," he said quickly. "Why don't we go there and you can help yourself to whatever food you have a preference for? On the way, I can introduce you to my traveling companions."

Forgetting about the wish-discussion he needed to have with Ravin,( and a little talk they were going to have about mentioning the flask ) he was up and out of the tent, calling on Ravin to hurry up while the man took his time, and lingered inside saying a few words to Isobel. Saras would have liked to sit and talk with the woman, but the prospect of getting food and meeting even more people was too exciting to resist. Besides, how long had it been since he’d eaten real human food, anyway?! It wasn’t that he was hungry, since he always was (a drawback to having little magic left) but didn’t actually need food. He just liked to eat tasty thing. Sometimes, if he ate enough, he could put a little bit of magic to use. As soon as Ravin caught up to him, he led the genie towards that a group of people around the fire.

There was a large group of people sitting around the fire and as Ravin introduced them, he was sure he was going to mix up their names and get them otherwise confused. He noticed their attention drifting over him, eyeing his hair and clothes and he smiled brightly; happy they were enjoying his splendour. He almost wished that he hadn’t changed out of his nice clothes, since it would have made a far better introduction. Still, he’d done what he could with Ravin’s clothes. Not only could he move much more ably, but it looked nice. Or as nice as one could get, considering Ravin’s taste. Maybe Ravin would wish for a better fashion sense. That was something Saras would be able to do something about. Although with a bit of time and effort he suspected.

"Welcome aboard," one of Ravin’s younger companions said, giving him a smile and appreciative once over.

“Thank you! I’m sure it will be quite pleasant and interesting, travelling with you all.” he replied, giving the youth his warmest smile, before smiling at the rest of the people around the camp-fire. He had been extremely flattered that the young man had paid him so much attention. He would have to do something special and Nice for the youth if the opportunity came up. Maybe, if Sarosh was lucky, he would be able to find a little bit of magic within him and would have the honour of granting one of Marz’s little, lesser wishes.
