Subject: Just remember, those "challenged students" would probably raise St. John's grad rate/academic progress. I'm scared to think what an easy course at St. John's constitutes. Can welding be far behind? Three credits for "Your Camera Phone and You"?

  • The players Hill brought in may have been academically "challenged students", but they were not expelled, were never involved in drugs, bribes, a transcript scandal, a strip club/hooker incident, or featured in a tell-all book. And all that drama was in the past what, two years? Fordham doesn't recruit such people, and those kind of incidents don't happen because our AD is actually strict. But even if something did happen at Fordham I'm sure it would be handled appropriately, and you certainly wouldn't see our AD shamelessly trying to get waivers from the consequences. • I wouldn't dwell too much on this. We've had our moments and incidents over time, as every program does. We are far from perfect. I'll just leave it at that. Your assumptions are not fully correct. (NT) -- Rambacker, Thu March 24, 2005 18:24:43
