Subject: PapaJohn.com sponsored this bowl last year. It will be played in Birmingham, Ala with a $900,000 payout. Average temp in Birmingham in Jan. is 53. Game is at noon on ESPN regional. Legion Field hold about 71,000. So on Jan. 8, Pitt will play Kentuck(a solid 6-6-2-6 conference) for $900,000 in front of 25,000 people in 53 degree temp-probably raining too-and lose. Talk about comedy.
In reply to: Pitt got a bid to the BBVA Compass Bowl in Mobile, Alabama, not a bad place to spend a January day. The Bowl is scheduled to be the last before the BCS Championship. 's message, "Bowl Game" on Monday, December 06, 12:38:46pm
