BC and his long list of failed coaches are no longer here. We've been to the postseason each of the last two years and Damian Saunders and Billy Clark have never experienced a losing season.

We gave Pitt everything it could handle and the Panthers are one of the top teams in the nation. We could've beaten Penn State on their court - and in my opinion, if TJ had been fully healthy and we would've had Eric Evans, we would've beaten them by 10 or more.

Damian's been playing on a sore foot and only recently has started to look like himself.

Let me back up a step: We had an opening on our schedule and no one wanted to step up and play us.

Duke? Certainly not. But the Dukes of old? I don't think so.

You've stuck to your mantra (We need a big man) all year so I'll stick to mine. Still a long way to go this season and I believe we're going to the postseason when everything is said and done.

This is not meant to be funny. FAM is correct. The local media hardly considers us at all. And I don't blame them. (OK, I do, in part) The local basketball community hardly considers us at all. Can't get the Palumbo half full with our own fans be they subway, alumni or students. I'd like to think that this is changing slowly. - I understand the part about the media. I understand where Duquesne "ranks" in terms of Pittsburgh sports. What I am contesting is the notion that we are not a good program right now. We are not a ranked program and we there are many upper echelon teams we can't beat, but my feeling is that we can play with most teams in the country and be competitive.   - The question you originally raised was one of perception. My perception of that perception is that the question as to whether we are "good" or not is not even considered by many beyond our little band of merry men. Frankly, I think this is the most talented team top to bottom that's ever called The Palumbo home. Alas, I think their size and youth will keep them from getting much beyond .500. We shall see.
