Subject: We all would love some better foul shooting for sure even us rose color glass guys! More inside.
In reply to: lilpav30 's message, "Duquesne is #1 in nation in 3s per game, #2 in assists per game, #5 in 3 point %, #12 in point per game, #27 in steals per game, and #332nd in free throws. if we could just improve FTs wouldn't it be so much nicer!!" on Friday, December 10, 12:12:43am

I think no one would argue the point that we are abysmal shooting free throws. Can we or should we improve? Absolutely we can and it is probably one of the biggest area that our coaching staff is working on. As I pointed out in another thread. We went from probably the worst to possibly the best 3 point shooting team. I give the credit to our guys but lets also give some kudos to our coaches. Heck even I can hit 80% of my free throws so young guys should have me beat: :) As the season goes on my guess is we see the free throw improve and the 3 pointer decline but overall team improvement in all areas is where we need to judge. Best of luck vrs the Hoopies. Go Dukes!
