Subject: We're not getting an at large bid. Forget about that. I agree with ED. Why would you want Evans around an extra year? It's going to be tough to fit him in as it is. Our problems are up front, not in the backcourt.
In reply to: Phil95 's message, "Looking at the 21 games left on the schedule I have a hard time finding a dozen more wins. I would love to be wrong. I can't see how adding a rehabbing EE to this mix will change this. There are not too many players that can miss the 1st dozen games & catch-up to opponents in mid-season form. EE might not see the immediate value of sitting out but, it seems like it is in the long-term interest of the program & player. Sadly, I also feel that having already lost to our 4 best OOC opponents, a miracle run would be needed to get an at-large bid." on Tuesday, December 14, 11:17:44pm

  • the A10 is bad, if we cant get at least at .500 record, we are in bad shape. Other than Temple, there is not a team out there we cant beat, home or away. We have 5 OOC games left, need to win 4+. At worst we should be slightly over .500 for the season. If not, the season will be a failure and a chance of landing that big man will be decreased. We need EE to play. That hardly means Talley wont get minutes, EE will need 5 games just to get back into shape. But he is still a key piece for this year and next. At least he can shoot FTs at a decent clip.
