Subject: Here is my wish list for BJ Montiero
In reply to: El Duque 's message, "We're not really disagreeing ... I have BJ & TJ as a "slash." I like BJ off the bench but Ron has tended to start veterans, at least in the early going, since his first year," on Tuesday, July 13, 02:55:51pm

This is Part 3 of my continuing rant and I suspect that no player has read them but I think it's therapeutic for me.
BJ is not a #2 guard. In fact I think his real strengths lie far closer to the basket.
1.)Hit the weight room with a purpose. I would like to see 10 extra pounds of muscle. We need help under the boards and last year you were #3 on the team in rebounds avg nearly 5/game despite playing significant time at guard. YOu may not be as big as many of your opponents but you will be much quicker and can leap.I suspect you would be a great finisher and score a lot of the garbage points we have been lacking.
2.)At times, you seem to be a worldbeater then get lost for stretches. I believe playing closer to the basket will keep you more fully engaged. I want to see the fire in your belly.
3.)Foul shots...foul shots..fouls shots. They will be critical this year. You need to be shooting at least 50%.
Fix the form and then repitition.

OK..now I feel better :-)
