Subject: He couldn't use a box-and-1 because we don't have a player who can guard Battle 1-on-1. And he got himself open on some of those long bombs by running beautifully off screens. A couple of those were 30-plus-footers. Have to give the kid credit sometimes.

  • Did you mean a box AND one? Because, you know, you sound smarter when you use the right phrase. Also, it seemed to me that all Penn State did in the last couple of minutes was shoot FTs. There was only one point at which I thought we should have fouled sooner, but other than that I don't have a problem with the way Ron coached this game. Ron, BTW, has a lot of class on the sidelines, something I'd occasionally like to see from other coaches.
