I've been on this board forever and have contributed negative comments before. As to my defense of Rod on a previous post, I feel that that any type of reference and evalution of talent or generalizations based on race or national origin should be out of bounds and IMHO not funny......maybe that wasn't the intent of the orginal poster, but that what I got out of it....Happy Thankgiving to everyone on this board and all Duquesne University supporters...Go Dukes!!!! -- Duquesne Dukes Basketball Forum

Nah..different view...it was light hearted with no malice towards race or nationality...at least that never occured to me. Basketball is HUGE in Brazil and I had high hopes for Rod. Can he still turn it around? Maybe so....he should take a lesson from Aaron Jackson and play with a sense of urgency. My observation is he is not always focused and that contributes to him being out of position, turnovers etc. (NT) -- Greg, Thursday, November 25, 10:40:30am
- The coaches, I hear, are very high on Rod, and think he can be a major force on this team. We've only seen flashes because we only get to see him in games. Personally, I'd like to see Marhold and Wright get more minutes because I think both have a high ceiling. I like Rod and would love to see him step it up, but my own observation is that his upside is along the lines of Jack May. That's certainly not a bad thing either.
