Subject: I would like to see DU more open with recruiting, but in a way I understand. Case in point two years ago we were recruiting Lance Jeter. He came down to DU & Nebraska and that information was posted on this board. One person, who no longer posts here and knew nothing of his talent, made a bunch of comments as to how he was too fat and did not want him. Of course Jeter went on to be one of the better players in the Big 12 last year. Not saying the comments infulenced his decision, but comments like that don't help. Pretty sure it pissed Ron off.
In reply to: Abdul Rahman 's message, "TMH, Pennlive.com has listed an offer from DU to Donovan Jack 6'8" from Reading Central, and said DU has interest in Mike Zangari 6'10" from Red Lands HS. Both are from the class of 2012, and live in the southeastern part of Pa. "Offical" visits are limited to 15 ( ?? may be lower than that at this point ) per school year for hoops. I'm sure Ron E uses them judiciously. DU's philosophy is certainly to keep things as secret as possible - different strokes for different folks - as some schools like to get the info out." on Wednesday, October 20, 12:59:19pm
