How do you gain confidence playing against air? Confidence is gained by holding your own against strong competition. This is not a young team. We were slated to have 4 upperclassmen in the starting lineup. If we can't hang with good teams now, when will it happen? After Bill and Damian graduate? Again, Freshman shouldn't start off with BE teams. It's a huge jump from HS to College. Ease in the first couple. I think the freshman have more confidence than they did before last night's game. My opinion. On another note- Dukes have guys in every position that are able to push each other harder in practice as compared to last year's team. Very important. Plus, I am a big guy, not many bigger than me at the AJPC, and I like my premium seats. I enjoyed the extra space. My knees arent knocking people out in front of me.
