Your cousin is a member of the Duquesne Hall of Fame since 1972, but I agree with you from a historical perspective, neither he nor much of Duquesne's great football past is well-known, including the two Orange Bowl championships.

I think we first had this conversation when I had an "uh-oh" moment on the board. A guy who owned a liquor store near me had passed away, and while I had appropriate feelings of sorrow for the man's family, I was surprised to find that the proprietor of "Bertelli's" was former ND Heisman winner Angelo Bertelli. That was before you cousin had passed away.

I'm currently reading Dan Rooney's autobiography. It's neat to see some of the parallels in the book and in Al's obituary with regards to the the respective histories of NCAA football and the NFL.

Cool stuff, my friend.
