Pitt has never come close to losing to a 1AA, and let's be honest, the Dukes at their best weren't close to the level of teams like Villanova and UMass. There is a huge gap between 1AA scholarship, and non scholarship programs, let alone 1A. When the Dukes were at their peak, Pitt was going to bowl games under Walt Harris.
