Subject: Devon 2: Plymouth Civil Service... 12 Plymouth Argaum Chiefs...0

Civil coach Danny Avery conceded, "It was not what we expected and hat's off to Argaum, who defended heroically."

As Civil were looking to round off their season with a win over the Roborough outfit, they were surprised to be leading by only seven points at the halfway stage.

Evergreen winger Nicky Dunne found the only break through the Argaum defence, for Dean Oram to convert.

With most of the game going in Civil's direction Argaum stuck to their task and held off the onslaught.

The spirited Argaum performance brought out plenty of unforced errors from the hopeful Civil.

However, the home side held on to their lead and added a second half try through skipper Damien Mulvihill.
