Subject: Kidney transplnt update

My daughter had her transplant surgery on Nov 28! The surgery went great and she is now home! Her kidney function level before surgery was between 6% and 7% and her creatinine level was 7.8, which is deadly. Post surgery her function is now at 80+% and creatinine is .9! Her donor is a friend of hers and she is doing great a well. Now we're looking at about 3 months of recovery before going back to work and up to a year for being able to do everyday things.
