1- Don't waste your money.
1 If you have it, it's worth the read but goes back to the ubs.
2 Good story, but probably goes to the ubs.
3 I like everything this author writes, but they've done better.
4 This is a keeper.
4+ Rare find, must find everything this author has written.
5 THERE ARE NO WORDS FOR THIS BOOK!!!!!

SEX/LOVE SCENE RATING
Limp=> Bad, little or NO SEX AT ALL!
Erect==> Good sex toward the end.
Boner===> Good sex half-way through and thereafter.
STIFF====> Good sexual tension throughout the book, and when it happens, you feel you've been there already.
HUGH=====> GREAT SEX in the first 1/4 of book and throughout the book.

In my opinion, he stepped out of a romance novel - the literal personification of many of the heroes our favorite writers have described - a dream come true.     Since this is a relatively new field I thought it would be nice to share with each other where we buy our e-books.

    I use Books on Board most as they have a good reward program.

    While we were in VA we were discussing the fact that some of us had been reading e-books on our computers & have now purchased e-readers but the format we purchased don't always work on the reader. So they have to be converted or purchased again, which can prove costly.. So Heather (our genius of the e-world..) found this GREAT program that works on both PC's & Mac's it is GREAT & to top it off it's FREE!!!

    Why? Just because. *G* I'm not sure the RBLs are game players, but it can't hurt to try.

    Someone comes up with game subject (i.e. I'm thinking of....) and everyone tries to figure out who/what the subject might be. They do this by asking questions with a yes/no answer. Here's a sample:

    Game Subject: I'm thinking of a Laurell K Hamilton character.

    Yes/No Question: Is this character a 'bad guy'?

    So - let's play a bit RBLs! After just returning from a RBL get together it's amazing what we readers remember about our stories. *G*

    So - using the above game subject start your questions. The answer to the first question above is no.

  • Just wanted to let you guys know I made it home last night by 9:00 pm. It was a loooong day of travel to get home due to my connections but so worth it. I had a fabulous time at the east coast rebel get together . A huge THANK YOU to Heather and Leila for all their wonderful hospitality, Ann for keeping me in coffee which is a MUST for this caffeine addict. Thank you Ann for the loan of your car as well, I know it was painful. It was so good to see Laurie who took time out from her busy life to squeeze us in for visits.   • HI Mom is finally home from the hospital! 7 days in pittsburgh.Now maybe she can get some sleep! I think dad has to call her dr, and ask all about these different medicines and what time to take them, Like a schedule or some think, I"m getting too confused when to give her the medicine.   • I made it home too. I wanted to echo Lin's thanks to Heather and Leila for letting us totally disrupt their lives for the past 10 days. It was wonderful to see everyone and visit. Ann even lent me her car for the day so Sandra and I could explore around the Richmond area. We saw civil war and revolutionary war houses and other buildings and a very pretty botanical gardens.     Besides the fact that the San Francisco Airport SUCKS as much coming as going.. I had a WONDERFUL time!!

    Heather & Leila, THANK YOU so MUCH for allowing us to descend on your home & disrupt your world for 10 wonderful days! As always it was GREAT to get to visit & talk books & eat our hearts out...LOL I feel as much at home at you & Ann's as I do at my own home. You two are truly the hostesses with the mostest (is that a word?*G*).

    Laurie, Angie & Robin, thanks for joining us for some of our visit it's always such fun to get to see you all!!

    I'm sure we'll hear from Sandra, Debbie & Judy when they get home, although Judy is continuing her trip a few weeks longer in Maryland & the Poconos..*G*

    I was ordered to post when I got home so everyone would know I made it safely. I'm home, had my bath, put on comfy clothes, set up my computer and then reported in. Aren't I a good girl? *G*

    We had such a marvelous time! Wonderful food - both the 'going out' kind and the home cooked variety. I got a new recipie from Judy for red sauce that was so simple she didn't want to share it with me. I think I convinced her that simple is better. *G* Ann did chicken and Linda did bisquits and gravy. All to-die-for.

    A few of the ladies spent a couple of days site-seeing. I just took it easy.

    If you ever get a chance to spend a few days with your fellow RBLs - jump on it! There is nothing better than sitting up till the wee hours discussing one of your favorite passions with people that love it just as much as you do.

    Hope the rest of your vacation was as wonderful as the first part ladies! Any more pg beds? *G*

    I got a notice from Barnes & Noble that they're going to be relasing their first eBook reader - they call it Nook. Anyone seen one of these yet or have an opinion? When I compared it to Amazon's Kindle online it seemed to be almost the same.
